What is base? Base is our new Ski & Board workshop. Why is maintenance important? Regular maintenance of your ski's or board will lengthen their life as well as allow you to grip, turn and glide better on dryslopes and snow.   Racers will tune their equipment every week. Whereas the recreational skier or boarder will have their equipment checked and tuned at the start of the season and periodically throughout the season.   Having your equipment tuned will involve any base gouges being filled, base being ground and structured, edges sharpened and a hot wax to repel water.   Believe it or not you do not actually slide on snow. your ski's or board run on a thin layer of water. Snow is melted with the pressure of weight and friction from the ski.     If your equipment is not tuned for this it could be slowing you down by 50%. Technologies like base structures and wax will make your slidedown the hill more fun.         PRICELIST
